Chantal
Chantal started out in photography in 2012 and quickly blossomed into one of the most popular photographers in Southern Manitoba, building strong relationships with clients over the years. Through the COVID-19 pandemic, the photography industry was basically shut down completely for in-person sessions. Through this, Chantal adapted and began creating composites using backgrounds she would create, while editing and photoshopping pictures sent to her by clients, creating beautiful masterpieces in the process. During this time, Chantal suffered some health challenges that has taken her out of photography all together. Because of this, she has focused her time and energy on creating stunning composites and backdrops for her clients. While doing this, she and Derek have built on the business, introducing a new brand focused on sports, primarily professional wrestling, where Chantal creates eye-popping designs for event posters and tickets, logos, backdrops for promo pictures, and more!
Derek
Derek started out in photography in 2013 as a second shooter and assistant to Chantal at weddings and larger functions while continuing to work full-time in the agriculture industry. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Derek was laid off and then chose to attend school for graphic design. It was during this time that Chantal began to deal with her health issues. As time wore on, Chantal started to learn more about design through what Derek was learning through his on-line courses and began to perfect her craft as a composite artist. This led to Derek taking over the photography side of the business, which has led to Derek becoming a well-respected photographer in his own right, and one of the premiere photographers in the local independent professional wrestling scene. Together with Chantal, they now have a new brand called Turnbuckle Photography And Design, or Turnbuckle PAD for short. Through this new venture, Derek has began to focus his time on sports photography, primarily professional wrestling, and website design and maintenance.
